PERSISTENCE


Aang and the gang are camping eating dinner, somewhere in the Earth Kingdom.

Toph’s  POV

*We were camping somewhere and frankly I didn’t care where it was. I was too busy between listening to Aang and katara and eating to really care.
And there was something unusual about Sokka too he wasn’t  talking. AT ALL!
I know Sokka and he Never stops talking. Frankly I thought the silence was kind of creepy.
So, I decided to ask him why he was being so quiet.*
Um…Sokka?
Huh?
I was just wondering why are you being so quiet? I mean you’re never quiet and I mean NEVER.
Oh.. I’m just  thinking.
About what?
It’s nothing.
Sokka I can tell you’re lying just tell me what’s wrong.
*Sigh…*ok. I was thinking about Suki.
Oh…..*Why does it have to be about her!*
It’s just I miss her.
Oh…you love her don’t you?*well, so much for me getting Sokka.*
I used to think I did, but now I know that I just like her as a friend.
REALLY?*I probably shouldn’t have yelled so loud but I really don’t care right now*
Um… ya really.
Did you ever like her?
To tell you the truth I don’t think so, I mean I’ve only spent like three days with her over all.
Really? I mean I’ve only met her once. But you’ve only seen her three days?
Ya, I really have only seen her a couple of days.
You know. It seems like you’ve got something else on your mind, are you sure that’s all?*even if you don’t I’m just happy you told me that!*
Well, sort of but I kind of don’t want to talk about it.

Ugh..fine I’ll tell you, I kind of like this girl and I don’t know if she likes me back.
